Ahhaa Board Member Takes the Reins in Nordic Science Association

With a meeting in Sarpsborg, Norway, an administration an affiliate Estonia's hands-on science center Ahhaa, Pilvi Kolk, was appointed to head the Nordic Science Center Forbund.

"It is an extremely big recognition for all of us, that we're chosen being an important partner [and[ entrusted with the leadership of an organization over 25 years old," uudised.err.ee reported Kolk as saying.

The association comprises of 50 science centers in Scandinavia as well as the Baltics and aims to improve the amount of joint projects, exhibits and educational programs in your neighborhood.

Ahhaa's main center is at Tartu and it has been a member of the association for decade. The Force Discovery Center situated in Tallinn may be the only other Estonian member.
