(CNN) -- If you can't recall everything you loved and hated around 2012, Facebook, Twitter and Google all truly released their year-in-review reports. And all three indicate come again? Many of us qualified firsthand: Thousands of strangers gathering to watch a rolling stone land-dwelling on Mars and a man fall from universe. A twister slamming the East Coast while the globe watched tragedy punch and heroes emerge. Social media, combined with the capability to search and apparent in sequence almost instantly, repeatedly brought Internet users organized to huddle around the virtual campfire, sharing their stories through image, text and sound.
