Snow In The Middle East (Photo Gallery)

From Foreign Policy: Snowfall in the Desert -- From Turkey to Jordan, onerous overnight blizzard Thursday jammed hauling, blocked businesses, and made life more intractable representing thousands in expatriate camps around the Middle East. The wild weather provided a surreal backdrop representing everything from snowball fights to clashes amid Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers. The Photo Gallery starts now.

My Comment: I live in Canada, and right now there is a 4 foot snowdrift in front of my window. I know how beautiful a snowfall is .... but it must be an awesome sight in a place like Jerusalem. On a side note .... for all those who are now refugees and living in camps .... this extreme cold and snow conditions are certainly not an awesome experience.
